Biography

Roger is a General Partner at Rho Canada Ventures, a division of New York-based Rho Capital Partners. He has ten years of operational & entrepreneurial technology experience and twelve years of venture capital experience.

He is focused on early-stage investing in Mobile, Internet Services, AdTech, Digital Health, E-Commerce and Enterprise Software. At Rho, he has been the lead investor in numerous successful and high profile companies including Chango (acquired by Rubicon Project, NYSE: RUBI), Frank & Oak, Figure 1, Sciencescape, Exact Media, AisleLabs and ShopLocket (acquired by PCH International).

Prior to Rho, Roger was a venture capitalist at GrowthWorks Capital where he was involved in the funding & growth of numerous early stage companies including Xkoto (acquired by Teradata, NYSE: TDC), Whitehill (acquired by Oracle, NYSE: ORCL), Paymentus (acquired by Accel-KKR) and NetShelter (acquired by Ziff Davis, NASDAQ: JCOM). He was also previously an investor at the corporate venture arm of BCE’s wireless division, where he was instrumental in the financing & development of many successful wireless and telecom companies across North America. Prior to his career in venture capital, Rogers was a technology start-up CEO at Mobilessence and worked in a variety of web technology-focused roles at Rogers Communications and Sapphire Technologies (acquired by KKR and, eventually, Randstad).
